NJ Technical School Students Serving Up Gourmet Meals

SICKLERVILLE, N.J. (CBS) – Students at a local technical school are serving up gourmet meals that you can enjoy.
The Back Door Cafe is open Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. and Terri Campagna, program manager for the Camden County College Technical Institute, says the menus will make your mouth water.
"You're talking upscale gourmet meals. For instance, there's broiled New York strip steak, we also have veal Provencal, broiled filet mignon, pasta primavera; not just your basic mom and pop," Campagna explains.
Twelve adult students do all the work, from taking orders, to serving, to cooking and when they leave the program they'll have the degree and skills needed for jobs in local restaurants.
The cafe is located on the Sicklerville Campus on Berlin Cross Keys Road.
Reservations can be made at 856-767-7000 ext. 5414.
