NJ Police Warn Of Child Porn Virus Video Being Shared Through Social Media
HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (CBS) – Police in Hamilton Township are warning people about a child porn virus video that is being shared through Facebook.
According to police, the video seems to come from a friend as a link with a label that does not suggest child pornography.
Police say once the link is opened, the virus video attaches to the Facebook user's account and is shared with all of that user's friends.
Authorities say the video is very disturbing and graphic.
Hamilton Township Police say they have notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the FBI, who began investigating the video in 2005.
The FBI is attempting to identify the suspect in the video, described as a 180 to 200 lbs, white male with brown hair and a dark circular mark on his right arm.
