Nick Foles Jersey From Historic Performance Going To Canton
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Nick Foles' performance on Sunday was record-tying, and the Football Hall Of Fame is going to make sure it's not forgotten.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, requested and is receiving a game ball, jersey, and shoes from Foles' seven-touchdown performance in the Eagles 49-20 win over the Oakland Raiders.
There are only six other quarterbacks in NFL history to throw for seven touchdowns in one game, with Peyton Manning being the only other active quarterback to do so. Only Foles, Manning and Y.A. Tittle did it without throwing an interception.
Foles' performance was also highlighted by a perfect quarterback rating of 158.3, after completing 22 of 28 passes for 406 yards, seven touchdowns and no interceptions.
