NHL: Flyers Return Home to Host Winnipeg
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- For the Flyers, there is no time to dwell on last night's 5-1 loss in Montreal (see related story). They are right back at it tonight, at the Wells Fargo Center, hosting Winnipeg.
The Jets (the former Atlanta Thrashers) are just 2-5-1 this season and bringing up the rear in the NHL's Southeast Division.
The Flyers have dropped three of four, but they still sit at 5-3-1 overall and in second place in the Atlantic Division, five points behind the front-running Penguins.
KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Brian Munz, the radio voice of the Winnipeg Jets, to talk about the matchup, get a scouting report on the Jets, and find out how much the city of Winnipeg is enjoying the return of an NHL franchise. (The first incarnation of the Jets left town in 1996 to become the Phoenix Coyotes.)
