NFL Scout: 'Seneca Wallace Is Horrible'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Eagles will not have to face Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Sunday, as he recovers from a fractured collarbone in the Packers' Monday Night Football loss to the Bears. The loss of Rodgers may give the Eagles an even bigger advantage than you'd think.
"Seneca Wallace is horrible and the Green Bay defense has zero pass rush," an NFL scout told Bob McGinn of the Journal Sentinel. "This is a complete disaster for the Green Bay defense to have to face without a quarterback. The Eagles probably will put up 400 yards passing. This guy (coach Chip Kelly) is an aggressive play-caller. They are fabulous on the road and they have no injuries, to speak of. This will be a major victory for the Eagles to get right back in the NFC East race."
Wallace was taken in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks, and has been a career backup. He's thrown 31 touchdowns and 19 interceptions and started 21 games in his NFL career.
