PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It's another step toward the NFL season lasting all year long.
The NFL and NFLPA are working toward a deal that would push the NFL Draft back to May, starting in 2014, Albert Breer of NFL.COM reports. The move would be a one-year trial run in 2014 before it's made permanent. The target date for the start of the draft is May 15th, 2014.
The report also suggests that the NFL may move the Combine back as well, as well as the start of the league year.
