New Year's Resolution: Don't Give Up
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - I have a confession to make.
Every year I tell myself that I will make certain that I have no significant New Year's resolutions related to my health. I tell myself I will watch what I eat all year long and not have to worry about a resolution to lose weight. I also convince myself that I will find time to exercise forty minutes a day most days of the week and that, perhaps most important, I will take time to reduce the stress in my life. Yet, somehow - someway - I find myself making the same resolutions year after year.
Perhaps you are like me. Maybe you have different resolutions but you share the same frustration. But if you think about it, perhaps we are all doing what people naturally do.
None of us is perfect and New Year's gives us a new start to try again. The bottom line is, as long as we try it means we haven't given up and that is more than half the battle.
