New Jersey State Police Deployed To Barrier Islands
TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) – Officials announced Thursday that New Jersey State Police will be deployed to barrier islands that were affected the most by superstorm Sandy to support local and county agencies.
According to officials, state police will assist local and county law enforcement protect property from potential looting and other crimes and provide personnel and resources for rescue and recovery.
Officials are asking anyone who sees potential looters to call 911.
