New Jersey Man Pledges To Do One Good Deed Every Day Of 2012

MOORESTOWN, NJ (CBS) -- Everyday, 50-year-old David Friedman of Moorestown, New Jersey, does at least one good deed.
On Friday, he spent about an hour cleaning-up a small park in Cinnaminson, New Jersey.
"I think it's great," says park-goer Jean Becker.
"God bless him or anyone who goes out of his way," adds George Gindhart.
Friedman was the president of an employee benefits consulting company in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. He sold the business in 2008, and retired shortly after at just 48-years-old. He then wrote a book on how to be successful, and this year, he made a commitment to himself to perform one act of kindness everyday.
"When you do nice things for people, other people do nice things. It's like the pay it forward concept," says Friedman.
He blogs about his experiences--from becoming pen pals with a soldier to recently delivering food to the Cinnaminson family who lost a loved one in a January car accident.
As for what happens next year, Friedman says he's just taking it one day at a time.
