New Jersey Gas Prices Continue To Fall
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Motorists continue to see lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in the state on Friday was $1.90, down 4 cents from last week. That's also much lower than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.24.
The national average price on Friday was $2.05, up a penny from last week. But that's still much lower than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.28.
Analysts say the lower gas prices in recent weeks have been spurred by falling crude oil prices. But now that oil prices have stabilized, they say gas prices will likely stay flat or rise slightly.
