New Google Service Spotlighting Bucks County
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – You've probably used Google Maps before, but did you know the website also has something called Google Trekker?
It's like streetview but features off-the-beaten path locations, and Bucks County is now joining a long list of locations being featured.
But before you can take a virtual tour of Tyler State Park or Washington Crossing, the people at Visit Bucks County are busy capturing it with a high tech backpack.
They've spent the last six weeks shooting over 70,000 panoramic photos with 15 different lenses in 12 different locations before sending that data back to Google.
The goal is to introduce 622 square miles to savvy visitors across the world.
