GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) - There's a new facility in Camden County designed to fight crime by housing different community-wide initiatives.
The activities being housed at the GT Family Resource Center in Gloucester Township, range from bullying awareness through law enforcement program to a prevention information enforcement roundtable.
Gloucester Township Mayor David Mayer says the programs help fight crime, through long term efforts.
"In this family resource center is just one part of our community policing strategy here in Gloucester Township that's designed to reach out to our community to not only inform them what's happening but to engage them."
The center will be staffed with a licensed social worker who facilitates programs aimed at preventing crime among youth.
