New Castle County Police Search For Suspect In Newark Robbery
NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Police in New Castle County are searching for a suspect they say robbed a 27-year-old man inside his Newark home.
At about 4:15 p.m. on Friday, police responded to the 500 block of Oakdale Boulevard in the Salem Village Apartment complex for a reported robbery.
Police say the victim claims he was sitting on the steps inside his apartment building when he was approached by an unknown male who allegedly assaulted him then stole his property.
Several officers and a canine team responded to the scene in an attempt to locate the suspect but were unsuccessful in their search. The suspect is described as a black male, 15 to 17 years of age, with a thin build and wearing dark hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
