Neumann-Goretti High School Coach Charged With Sexual Assault
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- The baseball coach at a Philadelphia Catholic high school is behind bars charged with sexually assaulting a boy and drugging another at a hotel.
Thirty-seven-year-old Louis Spadaccini was arraigned early Thursday on charges including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse involving a 13-year-old boy. The Neumann-Goretti High School coach was ordered held on $1 million bail in that case.
Spadaccini was charged earlier in the week (previous story) with endangerment and corruption of a minor after police say he plied a 14-year-old student at the school with alcohol and a Xanax-spiked drink.
Spadaccini has been suspended from his part-time coaching job and his position as a court crier.
It was not immediately clear if Spadaccini had an attorney.
