Neighbors Help Police Nab Couple In Main Line Burglary

RADNOR Twp., Pa., (CBS) – Fast-acting neighbors helped police nab a couple caught in the act of breaking into a house on the Main Line.
Police say it all began with a 911 call for a burglary in progress on the 700 block of County Line Road in Upper Merion.
No one was home at the time, but it turns out, the victim's neighbor was. Police say the neighbor witnessed the break-in.
"She went around the front of the house where she observed a female run from the front door of the property carrying a pillowcase," said Lt. Chris Flanagan of the Radnor Township Police Department.
Police say the neighbor chased after the female suspect who dropped the loot while running to a waiting getaway car.
When the two drove off, police say another passerby chased the two in his car.
"Constable Michael Connor, hearing the flash information, began to observe the vehicle and followed the vehicle," said Flanagan.
Police made the arrest on the 100 block of Matsonford Road in Radnor Township.
Police say the suspects' finger prints show they are wanted criminals out of New York and New Jersey, but due to a language barrier, the work in identifying the two is continuing.
Police say while they do appreciate the residents' diligence in trying to help them, they do stress when calling 911, after that, please remember to let police take over from there for obvious safety reasons.
