Near-Perfect Weather Today

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - If I could pick one day out of the year for my favorite weather, it just might be Thursday. No need to see the remaining 231 days!
Conditions today will be nothing short of spectacular. We are off to a bit cool start, primarily north and west of the city.
Otherwise, highs today will be seasonably warm across the Delaware Valley. Expect low 70s in Philadelphia, and mid to upper 60s at the shore and in the Poconos. There will be light winds, low humidity, and nothing but sunshine. Pretty good, huh?
Thursday night will be close to perfect itself. Sleeping weather will be excellent again, the kind of comfortable nights that one would expect for the middle of May.
Friday will be a pretty nice day too, but there will be a few more clouds around, a precursor to the weekend. A warm front will push north on Friday night, and Saturday and Sunday will be just that - warm, with highs back into the 80s.
Despite showers being around both days, we're not expecting a terrible weekend, as clouds will likely mix with some sun. As the region remains in a dry pattern, a shower or two certainly wouldn't hurt, especially for allergy sufferers.
