NCAA Tournament: Villanova Wildcats Looking For Fresh Start
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Villanova is getting ready for its NCAA Tournament opener. The Wildcats will battle George Mason, in Cleveland, on Friday afternoon.
Wildcats forward Antonio Pena says they have already put their five-game losing streak behind them and they are ready for their first-round tournament game with George Mason.
"We had a couple days off and we had time to review what we've been doing wrong, and just looking forward to the next game," Pena says.
The Patriots come into this game having won 16 of 17, and Villanova head coach Jay Wright sees few weaknesses in the Patriots.
"The word is 'team,' " says Wright. "They are a very efficient team. Everyone knows their roles. They are very efficient offensively, they execute, they don't turn the ball over."
The Wildcats beat George Mason by one point last season, and Wright says his team learned a lot from the Patriots when they escaped the upset.
