2 Multi-Vehicle Crashes On I-95 Snarls Rush Hour Traffic
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An accident in Delaware County and an accident in Newark, Delaware have caused major delays.
All lanes in Delaware County opened up shortly after 6 p.m. after they were shut down near Market Street and Upper Chichester, where a multi-vehicle car accident occurred.
Injuries have been reported.
In Newark, police responded to a jackknifed tractor trailer on I-95 southbound just north of the toll plaza. According to Newark police, all lanes of southbound I-95 are currently closed and traffic is being diverted onto DE Rt. 896 around the scene.
