Movie Touchup Brings Hometown Star Back to Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A center city restaurant was the scene of a movie shoot today. One of its stars is a local boy who has made it big.
The film stars Montogomery County native and Germantown Academy graduate Bradley Cooper (right), along with Robert De Niro. Cooper was on hand today inside Sampan Restaurant, on South 13th Street, for the shoot.
The movie was shot in Philadelphia in the spring under the title The Dark Fields, but the name has since been changed to Limitless.
Michael Wertzberger, general manager of Sampan, was overseeing things on his end during the shoot.
" What I'm being told is they are filming the ending scene for Limitless. The movie was done but now they are back in Philly to reshoot the ending," he told KYW Newsradio.
Wertzberger wasn't in front of the camera, but four of his employees were.
The thriller is scheduled to open in mid-March.
