PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Authorities say a New Jersey man is indicted with killing his wife and his mother is formally charged with helping him try to hide the alleged crime.
Authorities say 28-year-old Kyle Crosby of Mount Laurel is charged with first degree murder, desecrating human remains and child endangerment all related to the killing of his wife Erica Crippen.
His mother, 67-year-old Jo Crosby of Sicklerville, is charged with tampering with evidence and hindering apprehension.
Authorities say after allegedly killing his wife, Crosby dumped her body in a Maryland field.
Crippen went missing last New Year's Eve. Her remains were found March 17th.
She left behind a seven-year-old daughter and a three-month-old daughter.
Kyle Crosby is being held on $1.2 million bail.
