Motorcyclist Killed In Northeast Philadelphia Accident
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A motorcyclist is dead after an accident in Northeast Philadelphia Tuesday night.
The accident happened at about 8:34 p.m. at Harbison Avenue and Robbins Street in Mayfair.
Philadelphia Police say the 39-year-old motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Harbison Avenue when he cut between two lanes and ran a red light. He struck a car making a left hand turn from Harbison Avenue onto Robbins Street.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
The Accident Investigation Division is investigating the accident.
