PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- How much is mom worth? According to economic experts, approximately $23 billion.
That's how much people are expected to spend on Mother's Day gifts this year.

Two billion of that amount will go toward flowers, while $4 billion will go toward jewelry.
This amounts to about $186 per person.
According to a survey from the National Retail Federation, 29 percent of moms say they want a gift of experience.
Instead of jewelry or chocolate, moms say that they would prefer a spa visit or a concert.
