MossRehab Is 'All About Art'?
ELKINS PARK, Pa. (CBS) - Artwork lines the walls along the hallways of MossRehab in Elkins Park for the annual exhibit of work by artists with disabilities.
Anthony Zaremba, 69, of Whiting, N.J. was an art major and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1984. He went back to painting when the disease progressed to the point that it interfered with his work as a dental technician. He has taught himself to paint with both hands and his watercolor on paper paintings are popular. Zaremba says he paints from memory.
"I'll see something from five years ago and it will come into my mind and then come out."
Nancy Pageau is the art consultant and co-curator of the show "All About Art".
"We have 25 new artists and we have 246 pieces of art on the walls or sculpture and then we have somewhere between 200 and 250 pieces of jewelry."
