More Than 100 Philadelphia Children Treated To 'Super Saturday' Shopping Spree
By Jericka Duncan
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- For the 14th consecutive year, Frontiers International, Inc. hosted a shopping spree event at a local Target store. Children were given a $75 dollar limit to shop until they drop.
Frontiers International, Inc. is a community service organization whose mission is to give back. The local Frontiers group says they work with several other community service organizations to pick children who would benefit most from the annual shopping spree.
Chapter President Gregory Stephens says many of the parents of the children at Saturday's event need help buying gifts for their children, and this was one way to help.
