More on Utley's Knee and Madson's Elbow

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It was an eventful weekend for one current and one former Phillie.
Second baseman Chase Utley spoke with the media on Sunday talking about his ongoing battle to get on the field because of issues with his knees.
Utley has not played in a game this spring training and as expected, he won't suit up for the remainder of the Grapefruit League season. He also will not be ready for Opening Day and there is no real timetable for when he will be ready to return to the line-up.
Madson's news was even worse, as it was revealed on Saturday that the new Reds closer has a torn elbow ligament and needs to undergo "Tommy John" surgery, so his 2012 season is over before it began.
