More Men Seeking Plastic Surgery

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Baby boomers are aging, but then again - everyone is aging. So, why am I making a big deal about baby boomers aging? No, it is not that I am a baby boomer for those of you making sarcastic remarks out there. It is actually due to the fact that baby boomers are a major economic force.
Those who recognize this are reaching out to this group for a wide variety of reasons and one of the biggest reasons is a perceived need to look and feel young. And not just the women. In the past few years, doctors have seen almost a twenty percent increase in male patients requesting plastic surgery.
There is no doubt that plastic surgery is generally becoming more accepted in the eyes of most. The favorite procedures among male patients are rhinoplasties, liposuction, and hair transplants.
The number of women going under the knife for these procedures is on the rise as well.
