Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Back To Work (In Retail) Men Go

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (CBS) - According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, more men are back at work, but in different positions. Instead of construction, you'll find more of the guys in retail or other positions traditionally held by women.
"It is kind of fun," says Oscar Martinez Jr. the manager of the Lane Bryant store in the King of Prussia Mall. "I've been working in retail forever. It's always been in specialty with females and I've always enjoyed working with the female clientele."
Reporter: "What drew you to retail?"
Martinez: "It was the first place I was employed. A guy looking for work, a retail job hired me and I've been here ever since."
Jen shops in Oscar's store often and she appreciated having a male perspective on clothing before she buys it. "I think it's way better than a woman. Everybody needs a male friend to help them pick out stuff!"
For his part, Oscar saw something that startled him this summer: "I saw a lady driving a bulldozer and I said, 'what the heck is going on here? She was so natural behind the wheel!'"
Reporter: "Just as natural as you are in a retail store!"
Martinez: "Correct!"
