Missing Pet Snake Found In Swarthmore After More Than A Week
SWARTHMORE, Pa. (CBS) – A missing pet boa constrictor has been found, much to the relief of neighbors.
The seven-foot snake, whose name is "Snakey," was missing from its Swarthmore home on Yale Avenue for more than a week (see related story).
Police say the snake was returned to its owner, Dr. David Spiegel, safe and sound after being found around 1:25 p.m. in the 300 block of Vassar Avenue.
According to Spiegel, Snakey escaped from the yard nine days ago while "sunbathing."
