Miley Cyrus Philadelphia Show Postponed Until August
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Pop singer Miley Cyrus is postponing her concert at the Wells Fargo Center on Monday, April 21 to Saturday, August 2, as she remains hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics, Comcast-Spectacor announced Friday night.
Patrons holding tickets to the newly rescheduled date should hold onto their tickets as all tickets will be honored on the new date.
Cyrus suffered from a sinus infection last week during her "Bangerz" tour, and then had an extreme allergic reaction to the antibiotic cephalexin.
All remaining U.S. dates on the Miley Cyrus Bangerz tour have been postponed.
The Philadelphia show was originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 22. Due to Game Three of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Flyers and New York Rangers scheduled for the same night, the concert was moved a night earlier.
