"Mike & Molly" To Air Weeknights This Fall

"Mike & Molly" will join The CW Philly's fall lineup, five nights a week, beginning September 22nd. Series star Melissa McCarthy, who landed a Lead Actress Primetime Emmy for her role on the show, is nominated once again in the upcoming 2014 awards. Together with co-star Billy Gardell, McCarthy will deliver latenight laughs weeknights on The CW Philly at 11 PM and midnight.

First launched on the CBS network, "Mike & Molly" is a comedy about a working class Chicago couple who find love in a most unexpected place. While speaking at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting, Office Mike Biggs (Billy Gardell), a good-hearted cop, meets Molly Flynn (Melissa McCarthy), an instantly likeable fourth-grade teacher with a good sense of humor. Mike's partner, Officer Carl McMillan (Reno Wilson), is a fast-talking wise-guy who, despite his teasing, encourages Mike on his road to slimness and romance. For Molly, focusing on smart choices isn't easy while living with her sexy older sister, Victoria (Katy Mixon), and their mother, Joyce (Swoosie Kurtz.) Tune in, enjoy the laughs and see where their quest for companionship will take them!
