Michael Vick Wants Chip Kelly To Make A Decision About Starting QB
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has said numerous times that he has not made a decision regarding who the team's starting quarterback will be. Michael Vick is ready for that to change.
"Hopefully, Chip makes a decision before training camp and we won't have to answer that question, so we can go out there as quarterbacks and just focus on this season and not answer questions about competition every day," Vick told CSN Philly's Geoff Mosher.
"Yeah, but hopefully we'll have an answer by [training camp]" Vick said. "I won't want to continue to answer those questions. I won't continue to answer those questions until Chip makes a decision."
The Eagles had their final day of mini-camp on Thursday, and will not practice again until training camp begins.
Philadelphia is not a stranger to quarterback controversies, but they usually heat up in August, not in May and June. This one doesn't seem to be going away any time soon.
