Michael Carter-Williams Leads All Rookies In NBA Jersey Sales
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Michael Carter-Williams has been sidelines in recent weeks, due to a skin infection in his knee. But even while he's wearing a suit, people want to wear his jersey.
The Sixers point guard's jersey is the top seller among NBA rookies, the league announced on Thursday. The jersey was the 15th most popular overall.
Lebron James has the top selling jersey in the NBA, followed by Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony.
Carter-Williams could return to the Sixers lineup Friday night against the Nets. He leads all rookies in scoring (17.7 ppg), assists (7.3 apg), rebounding (5.8 rpg) and steals (NBA-high 3.13 spg).
