Men's Hoops: Drexel to Battle St. Joe's on Hawk Hill
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Hagan Arena should be rocking tonight as St. Joe's hosts Drexel in City Series college basketball action.
Drexel comes into this game with a 2-2 record. They haven't played since beating up Winthrop, 68-45, on November 21st in the final game of the Paradise Jam. Meanwhile, the Hawks are 4-2 and fresh off a thumping of Penn State, 65-47, over the weekend.
Dragons' head coach Bruiser Flint says this should be fun.
"You can't help but be ready for these types of games," he says. "The city games are big -- all the kids play against each other all summer. We're going into a great atmosphere: it's going to be a really good atmosphere at St. Joe's because they always have that."
Flint's Dragons are built on defense, but he says they will be tested against the Hawks.
"They score the ball. They just flat out score. So we gotta play some defense in this one and we gotta keep those guys at bay a little bit."

St. Joe's is averaging 75 points a game and Phil Martelli's squad's defense isn't too shabby either. The Hawks are holding opponents to just 38% shooting so far this season.
Drexel is led in scoring by sophomore guard Frantz Massenat at 16.5 points per game. Junior guard Carl Jones paces the Hawks at 21.3 points a contest.
Tip off at Hagan Arena is set for 7:00pm.
