Men's Basketball: Villanova Travels to North Jersey to Battle Rutgers
By Matt Leon
VILLANOVA, Pa. (CBS) -- Tonight at 9pm, it's the penultimate game of the regular season for Jay Wright's Villanova Wildcats, as they travel to Piscataway, NJ to visit the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers.
It's been a struggle for both teams in the 2011-2012 season. The Wildcats are 11-17 overall and just 4-12 in the Big East. They also come in cold, having dropped four straight.
On the injury front, guard James Bell and forward JayVaughn Pinkston are both dealing with ankle injuries, and both players are questionable for this game.
KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Joe Juliano, college basketball writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, about the matchup and what the NCAA Tournament could look like from a Philadelphia perspective.
