Men's Basketball: Aggies Ready for NCAA Tourney Debut
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (CBS) - For the first time in program history, the Delaware Valley College men's basketball team is readying for an NCAA Tournament game.
The Aggies got a tough draw in round #1 of the Division III tournament, as they will travel to perennial power Virginia Wesleyan on Friday night.
Del Val head coach Casey Stitzel knows his team has its work cut out for it against the 23-4 Marlins.
"They are very good. We just got some films on them and I've watched a couple already, and I can definitely tell you it's the best basketball team I've seen since I've been the head coach here," Stitzel told KYW Newsradio.

The Aggies got here by winning the Freedom Conference title, and while they are the underdog in this one, Stitzel says they have some cards they can play on Friday.
"To guard a kid like (senior guard) James Jones without seeing him, I definitely think that's going to be something that they are definitely going to have to gameplan for. And our dribble-drive offense, with the way we spread it out, that's an offense that is tough to guard sometimes if you haven't guarded it before," he said.
Jones is the reigning Freedom Conference Player of the Year, and he leads the Aggies in scoring -- at 21 points per game -- and assists -- at 5.3 per contests.
The winner of the Del Val-Virginia Wesleyan game will play the winner of North Carolina Wesleyan College and Franklin and Marshall, in the second round on Saturday.
