Members Of Southern California Church In Town For Papal Mass
By John McDevitt
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A southern California church group is among the pilgrims in town for the Papal mass.
Two hundred strong were singing and playing instruments as they made their way along north Broad Street to the Parkway.
Members of Neocatechumenal Way were singing and playing instruments as they walked along. Among them is Monica Garcia of Orange County.
"We come, a lot of families, some people have 12 kids but we come and see the Pope because we believe in Jesus. So we here to see Jesus is here."
They didn't have tickets to Papal mass but that didn't matter, they'll watch it on a jumbrotron.
"We are here because we are happy. We have Jesus in our heart."
