MCW, Noel To Compete In Rising Stars Challenge
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Both Michael Carter-Williams and Nerlens Noel will represent the Sixers in the 2015 BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge on February 13th. It will be the first time since 2005 (Kyle Korver and Andre Iguodala) the Sixers will have multiple players competing in the event.
In 2014, MCW was the Sixers' only participant. Carter-Williams and Russell Westbrook of the Thunder are the only two players in the league averaging more than 15.0 points, 7.0 assists, and 6.0 rebounds per game.
Noel is averaging 8.0 points (fifth amongst rookies), 7.3 rebounds (first), 1.5 assists (14th), 1.6 blocks (first), and 1.5 steals (first) on the season.
