McCoy Dismisses Kelly Racial Questions: 'I Never Regret Nothing I Say'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- While he may not regret anything he says, LeSean McCoy must realize his mouth is getting him into trouble.
Three weeks after McCoy preposterously said his former coach, Chip Kelly, got rid of the "good, black players the fastest," Kelly responded by saying his former running back is "wrong."
McCoy, when asked about the comments at Bills practice on Wednesday, angrily refused to answer.
"Did you just hear what I just said here?" McCoy said via Mike Rodak. "Then why did you ... I just told you, I'm not talking no more about Chip Kelly or the Eagles. So I'm done with that. You can ask me about the Bills."
Another reported probed. McCoy wasn't having it.
"Yo? Are y'all listening to me? Can I say it any other way? I'm not talking about Chip Kelly or no Eagles. So I'll be done with this interview if nobody else has anything to say about the Bills."
So how about an apology?
"I never regret nothing I say."
The 2013 rushing champ doesn't feel like he's been a distraction to his new team.
"I think [Bills head coach] Rex [Ryan] has said enough things this year to stir up some things anyway," McCoy said. "So it makes it a lot of fun. But yeah, I think if it was a distraction, [Ryan] would have called a team meeting and he would have addressed it like he has so far if there's something going on."
