Masked Gunman Sought In Kensington Double Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for a masked gunman who fled the scene after shooting two people early Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened after midnight at Dauphin and N. Howard Streets in the city's Kensington section.
According to investigators, a 24-year-old male was shot possibly up to nine times. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
A 44-year-old man, who investigators believe may have been an innocent bystander, was shot in the foot. He is listed in stable condition at Temple.
Investigators say the 24-year-old was the intended target. At least 10 bullet casings were found at the scene.
Police continue their manhunt for the suspect who was wearing a mask at the time of the shooting.
The shooting remains under investigation.
