Marcus Hook Man Arrested For Two 2011 Bank Robberies
MARCUS HOOK, Pa. (CBS) – A Marcus Hook man is behind bars for two bank robberies that occurred in 2011.
David Federowicz, of Marcus Hook, has been charged with robbing the Sovereign Bank located at 1001 Market Street in Marcus Hook on two separate days, January 28, 2011 and September 8, 2011. On each occasion, the defendant demanded money from a teller by presenting a hand written note. During the robbery on January 28th, the defendant wrote on a bank transaction slip, "Give me all the money in the register and no one will get hurt."
During the robbery on September 8, 2011, the defendant presented a note that read, "Give me all the money in the register. I want 10 thousand dollars. No one will get hurt if you cooperate."
As a result of the robbery in January, the defendant took $3,629.00, and he took $10,490.00 during the second robbery in September.
Federowicz failed to post bail, and he was transported to the Delaware County Prison to await a preliminary hearing.
