Police Called Out Over Suspicious Items At Gloucester County Home

MANTUA TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- Authorities were called out to a home in Gloucester County on Tuesday after suspicious items were found.

Mantua Township Police say they were dispatched to Firth Drive and Berkley Road for suspicious items that were located by the sheriff's department while they were serving an eviction order.

The home was previously the scene of a hazmat incident in April where a suspicious substance was destroyed by a controlled detonation.

Six homes were evacuated as a precaution.

Police say it was determined that the items were simply left over from the prior incident and that the items were not illegal to possess individually.

Police say no residents were in danger at any time.
