Man Trapped In Car After Partial Building Collapse In West Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man was injured after debris from partial building collapse fell onto his car, trapping him inside in West Philadelphia.
It happened early Sunday morning along the 5000 block of Warrington Street.
Police say an officer responding to an accident in the same area found the car buried under bricks. The man inside was pulled from the vehicle and taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The officer's police cruiser was also struck by falling debris and sustained minor damage.
