Man Struck, Killed By Train In Montgomery County
LOWER MERION TWP., Pa. (CBS) – Police in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County are investigating the cause of a fatal railway accident that occurred Thursday.
According to police, a man was struck and killed by a train around 9:40 p.m. on the tracks between Merion and Overbrook stations in the Merion section of the town.
Authorities report that the operator of the eastbound train reported the incident immediately.
The victim was pronounced at the scene.
Officials are still investigating.
