Man Struck And Killed By Van In Wilmington
WILMINGTON, DE (CBS) -- A person was hit by a van and later died at the hospital.
Police say the man was struck while trying to cross Kirkwood Highway at Limestone Road just before noon.
According to authorities, the man was transported to Christiana Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the van did stop.
The eastbound lanes of Kirkwood Highway at Limestone Road are closed while crews investigate the scene.
