Man Stabbed Multiple Times In Parking Lot Of Mall In Delaware
CLAYMONT, Del. (CBS) -- Police are investigating a stabbing in the parking lot of a Delaware shopping mall that left a man hospitalized in serious condition.
The stabbing happened at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Tri-State Mall on Naamans Road in Claymont.
According to investigators, a 27-year-old man and a group of friends were leaving the Simba Grill located inside of the Tri-State Mall.
As the group walked through the parking lot to their vehicle, the 27-year-old man separated from the group and walked to an unknown location of the parking lot.
A few minutes later, the victim returned suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken by his friends to a local hospital where he is listed in serious condition with multiple stab wounds to the upper body.
A description of the suspect(s) was not immediately available.
