Man Sought In Pill Theft From Del. Supermarket
NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Police in Delaware are searching for a suspect who robbed prescription pills from a supermarket late last month.
The robbery happened at the Pathmark Supermarket located at 100 College Square Shopping Center in Newark on December 30.
According to police, the suspect entered the store and proceeded to the pharmacy where he produced a note demanding oxycodone pills.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of prescription oxycodone, the suspect fled the store and entered a white compact vehicle.
The suspect is described as a white male with a beard (possibly red in color), approximately 5'7", in his mid to late 20s. He was wearing a green sweatshirt with a skull emblem and a baseball hat with a star on it (possibly a Dallas Cowboys hat). He was also wearing dark jeans, blue and white sneakers and possibly a red "doo-rag" underneath of the hat.
