Man Shot Outside University City Bar
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are searching for the gunman they say shot a man outside a bar in the University City section of West Philadelphia early Friday morning.
This happened around 12:30 a.m. around 40th and Market Streets.
Police say the 30-year-old victim was outside talking to someone when he was shot in the leg, then went into the bar where he works as a bartender. He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with non life-threatening injuries.
There's no word yet what led to the shooting. The suspect was last seen running on Walnut Street.
