Man Shot On Center City SEPTA Subway Concourse
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia and SEPTA police are investigating a shooting on a subway concourse that happened early Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened at about 3 a.m. inside SEPTA's Broad Street Line at Broad and Walnut Streets.
According to investigators, a 37-year-old man was shot in what could be a drug deal gone bad.
The victim was shot once in the neck during the altercation and he was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital. He is listed in stable condition, but he is expected to live.
The gunman fled the scene and remains at large.
Investigators are interviewing possible witnesses in hopes of gaining additional information. The shooting remains under investigation.
