Man Shot In Head In West Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A person of interest in the shooting of a man in the head early Thursday morning is in police custody.
The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. in the 5500 block of Ludlow Street in West Philadelphia.
According to police, a 30-year-old male was shot once in the head. He was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Shortly after the shooting, police took a person of interest in the shooting in custody. Police say they found a shotgun near the scene.
A motive in the shooting was not immediately known. The shooting remains under police investigation.
