Man Shot Dead On North Philly Basketball Court
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia Police say a 27-year-old man is dead after he was shot twice in the chest on a basketball court in the cities Poplar neighborhood Saturday afternoon.
The shooting happened on the 800 block of N. 8th Street around 2 p.m.
The victim reportedly walked to 8th and Poplar Streets after he was shot and collapsed. He was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
No arrests have been made so far. Authorities are investigating.
